The ‘Wonder’ Of Christmas

For families facing poverty, the wonder of Christmas is something entirely different. It’s the wonder of not knowing how cold it will get, will we be able to afford both food and fuel? do the children know what’s going on?

These anxiety filled wonders are something Saint Vincent DePaul volunteers see everyday and work tirelessly to alleviate. By subverting the ‘wonder’ of Christmas, we wanted to showcase the amazing work SVP volunteers do and highlight that for many, ‘the wonder of Christmas’ is something entirely different.
